Message from Sohale:
As a child, musical composition was my sacred doorway to Freedom. It allowed my love for gypsy, romantic, and Persian music to meld, which led to an alchemy that transcended social constructions. Therefore, It freed me from the limitations of the world around me and allowed my being to soar.
But, this gift of transcendence and freedom is beautified when it is dedicated to not only my pleasure, but also to the pleasure of others. Thus, I am publishing "Sweet Lips," a solo violin album and dedicating it financially and musically to those who thirst for the sweet lips of Freedom.
We all thirst for Freedom whether it is psychological, political, social, or spiritual in nature. Thus, in a way, I am dedicating this album to that primordial desire for Freedom, which resides in every heart. It is in my heart and It is in yours.
Perhaps it is this realization that can save our world from perdition.
Last, but certainly not least, I thank every person who believed in me when I was doubtful of myself. Through the One, my family, in particular, is responsible for all that I have—all the lessons, the sacrifices, the love...there are no words to express gratitude.
